Galatasaray are stepping up their interest in Fulham's forgotten man Kerim Frei with a delegation due to arrive in London this week.
The Istanbul giants have been monitoring the fortunes of Frei closely since he switched allegiances from Switzerland to represent Turkey at international level. Despite making two appearances for Turkey during the recent international break, Frei has returned to the Fulham reserves and is well down the pecking order at Craven Cottage. He made a big impact under Martin Jol last season and went on to feature in 16 Premier League games, but has not played for the first team since December after a disappointing loan spell at Cardiff City. Galatasaray sporting director Bulent Tulun has travelled to England and is expected to prepare a scouting report after Fulham's matches against Chelsea and Arsenal this week. However, Frei is not certain to feature in either match.
