Two sour Us competitors will clash on Tuesday night in Mexico City since the Usa and Mexico go face to face with plenty at stake. With the 2014 World Cup just more than 16 months away, both sides are looking to rack up as many items as you can in the CONCACAF table so as to make certain that they are among the 32 teams headed to Brazil next June. While Mexico has owned the United States south of the border, the Americans is a confident bunch having gained their first win on Mexican soil in 75 years last summer. Clint Dempsey, United States The 30-year-old forward is a huge target scoring unit for the Stars and Stripes within the last seven years, flowing in 32 targets since 2005. Dempsey has performed for america in two World Cups and is closing in on his 100 look with the senior national team. As he's yet to score from the Usa, watch for an established Chicharito on Tuesday. Herculez Gomez, United States Dustin Bradford/Getty Images If Dempsey does not find the back of the net on Tuesday, perhaps it'll be Herculez Gomez to the rescue for the United States Of America. Gomez certainly has a knack for investing in objectives, and the Americans will need him to be at his greatest behind enemy lines in Mexico City on Tuesday. Like Dempsey, the Santos Laguna star is in his prime at age 30 and delivers the pace and finishing energy to break through for the Untied States on the street. Gomez obtained in two qualifying fits in 2012, including one against Jamaica last September in a 1-0 win on American soil. He'll not be reading cheers from the group these times, but I'm sure the boos might seem in the same way nice when it means the United States get back house with three points. Gomez and the Americans would undoubtedly take a draw if they will get it, but a win would go a long towards qualifying for the World Cup next summer.
