Would Tottenham Hotspur eliminate Scott Parker come july 1st? - Here Could Be The Town - Here Could Be The Town

With your competition for midfield areas set to develop much more might the 32-year-old be sent packing by Andre Villas Boas? Exactly what a huge difference a weekend makes. Not long ago Tottenham looked out and down. Aaron Lennon injured, Jermain Defoe injured, Gareth Bale injured, out from the Europa League and falling away in the competition for a Champions League place next period. Then Samir Nasri grabbed a starting target which will need to have sent chill lumps down the back of Spurs fans; was this the minute all of it capitulated. Then, within eight 2nd half minutes, the mood had changed quickly. Cruising Spurs and 3-1 up are well and undoubtedly right back on the way. But it did not just happen out of nowhere; it was largely because of the bold decision making of gaffer Andre Villas Boas. Though using Emmanuel Adebayor off was a given considering his dreadful show of aafootballaa your choice to throw Tom Huddlestone and Lewis Holtby to the action was a much braver contact. It paid down dividends with every one of them playing a role in the objectives that sooner or later gave Spurs success. But while Adebayor came in for criticism I believe a certain Scott Parker got off lightly. I would like to preface this by making my estimation of Parker clear. He is a top class player. I am not for just one second insinuating otherwise; hell I know I would want to have him at Everton. But I am just getting a feeling that AVB is not entirely sold on the 32-year-old. Against City he did his usual thing; enjoyed his usual sport but the dynamism was lacked by him to keep up with the likes of Yaya Toure, Samir Nasri and co. His passing was down in comparison to the far more good Huddlestone and Holtby and he continues to do that strange turn on the ball thing he always does; not necessarily a challenge I simply believe it is irritating. Simply put I am not sure he's Andre Villas Boasa cup of tea. With Holtby, Dembele, Sigurdsson, Sandro and Huddlestone all at his disposal currently the rumour mill however churns that Joao Moutinho may be his number one target. I really think that Scott Parkeras times at Spurs could be designated if his pursuit of the Porto man is eventually effective. Call it an expectation, call it an impulse, call it moronic; but I would perhaps not be sure of Parker staying a Spurs player next season. Do you think Parker might go in summer time? In that case, where? image: A xtranews @hitcmathewnashGoogle+more reports from Mathew Nash Iam Mathew Nash a 23 year old scholar in Sports Studies and I've an love for sport.
