Kompany poised for City return - ESPN.co.uk

Vincent Kompany is eventually set to produce his Manchester City comeback after doing 90 minutes in Belgium's 1-0 victory over Macedonia. The Town chief had not played for exactly two months since limping down in the FA Cup next round conquer Stoke on January 26 and experienced several setbacks in his bid to go back following a leg injury. But he played the whole game as Belgium won their World Cup qualifier, courtesy of a goal from Chelsea's Eden Hazard, to stay the top of team. Now Kompany probably will simply take his invest the Town support when Newcastle visit the Etihad Stadium on Saturday. And there could be a double injury increase for boss Roberto Mancini if Sergio Aguero recovers from the leg problem to play. The striker hasn't taken the subject in March and missed his country's internationals against Venezuela and Bolivia but is back education. Yaya Toure, who missed the defeat at Everton with a migraine, should really be able to start against Newcastle.
