Blue is the color of Chelsea Football club, so blue was an abvious inspiration for this Adidas It's Blue What Else Matter? campaign.
"The campaign was created based on the insight that Chelsea can clearly own 'blue' as a colour. Not only do they sing about it, but they are the only club in the English Premier League that call themselves 'The Blues'. Seeing the players take part and show their commitment to the colour and the lengths that they will go to will inspire the fans and show the club as they have never been seen before"
At the end they look like the blue men group melting. It's very tricky to do something 'good' when it comes to pooring liquids on people in photography. I would have liked better a photoshoot using blue lighting and blue moods rather then actual painting, literal is not always the way to go.
It takes a village to turn (and keep) those men blue ... from bathing them, little touch ups here and there to pouring more liquid on them. Enjoy the behind the scenes below and see more images from this campaign and behind the scenes after the jump.
