Tottenham are reportedly looking at Barcelona striker David Villa because they look to improve their striking options.
The 31-year-old, as well reportedly a target involving fierce rivals Arsenal, looks set to remain available this summer when his Catalan employers want to overhaul their squad.
Villa is said to be keen to gain more playing time prior to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and thus a move to the administrative centre could be perfect even if Spurs still disagree at his £12m valuation, with £7m perceived as their preferred price.
